Have you ever thought about…

the impact of humans on nature?

Drawing inspiration from the communication and connection required between you and the monoliths in the Splinter experience, we can reflect on the interconnectedness of the living.

All living things are interconnected and depend on each other to survive. What happens to a species or a natural environment can have a chain effect on an entire ecosystem.

It is well known that human activity has a destructive effect on nature. We raze forests, we fill the oceans with our plastic waste, we pollute the air with fossil fuels that power our cars and planes, we consume more and more...

With all this, we are contributing in an instrumental way to global warming, biodiversity loss, increase in natural disasters and environmental degradation.

An ecosystem is a group of plants, animals and other organisms living together in a particular place, interacting with each other and their environment. The balance of this whole is fragile and can be easily disturbed by various factors, leading to adverse consequences for the system as a whole.

DID YOU KNOW?

That is why it is important to stop and think about our personal impact on a daily basis.

After all, communication and awareness are the first solutions!

To honour our coexistence with biodiversity in the various terrestrial ecosystems, we need to protect the latter and reduce our environmentally harmful behaviours; to ensure a better world for all!

Can you identify which actions in your daily life have a negative impact on the environment?

To make the exercise easier, look back on your day and try to identify which of your decisions may have had an impact on the environment.
