Is it a…
STRING instrument

how it works
Prismaphonik is an interactive artwork which unites 12 musical prisms into a colorful orchestra.
Each prism embodies a musician and their distinct instrument participating within the musical ensemble.
By approaching the prisms, you intensify their soundtrack and add their instrument to the musical ensemble.
Simultaneously, each prism diffuses a colored representation of the harmonic progression of the musical notes played, as well as a rhythmic play of light imitating the musician's movements.
